Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

This policy explains how ThePMarket ("we", "us") handles your personal information when you visit https://thepmarket.store or buy from us. We are the controller of your information under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

Questions or requests about your data: [email protected]. We aim to reply within 1–2 working days.

This policy was last updated on 30 October 2026.

2. What we collect

Our store runs on Komerza, a platform for selling digital products operated by UAB Komerza in Vilnius, Lithuania. Komerza hosts the Site, runs checkout, delivers your keys and stores all customer data, including your account login. We don't keep our own copy of customer data or databases, and we can never see your password.

Komerza stores the following. We can view it through our Komerza dashboard when we need to fulfil an order or help you:

Order details: your email address, what you bought, the price, the date, and the payment method type (such as "card" or "Klarna")

Account details: the email address and any name or username on your account

Reviews: the rating, comment and display name you post

Support messages: anything you send us by email or on Discord, such as screenshots of an error (these stay in our email and Discord accounts, not on Komerza)

Technical data: your IP address, approximate country, and browser and device type, collected automatically for security and fraud prevention

Payment details such as your full card number are handled by the payment provider you choose at checkout (for example Stripe, Klarna or Afterpay/Clearpay). We never see or store them.

3. How we use it

We use your order and account details to process your orders, email your keys, run your account, and handle support, refunds and complaints. We do this because it's needed to carry out our contract with you.

We show your reviews on the Site, and use order and technical details to prevent fraud and chargeback abuse. We do this because we have a legitimate interest in sharing honest feedback and protecting the store.

We keep records of sales because the law requires it for tax and accounting.

We only email you to deliver your licence key or to reply to you. We never send marketing emails or newsletters. We don't track you, we don't sell your information, and we don't use it for automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you.

4. Sharing, cookies and how long we keep it

Who we share it with. We only share your information with services that help us run the store:

Komerza (Lithuania): hosting, accounts, checkout, key delivery and storing customer data

Payment providers (such as Stripe, Klarna and Afterpay/Clearpay): taking your payment and checking it for fraud

Proton (Switzerland): our email provider, for support emails

Discord (US): if you contact us on Discord (username maskedmarksman), Discord processes your messages and username under its own privacy policy

We may also share information if the law requires it, or to deal with fraud. Lithuania is in the EU and Switzerland is recognised by the UK as having adequate data protection. Discord and some payment providers may handle data in the US under their own safeguards.

Cookies. We don't use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. The Site only uses the cookies Komerza needs to keep you logged in, run the basket and checkout, and prevent fraud. These are essential, so they don't need your consent.

How long we keep it.

Order records: kept on Komerza for up to 6 years, for tax and accounting

Account details: kept on Komerza until you close your account

Reviews: until you or we remove them

Support emails and Discord messages: up to 2 years after your last message

5. Your rights

You have the right to:

get a copy of the information we hold about you

have wrong information corrected

have your information deleted, unless we must keep it (for example, order records for tax)

object to or restrict how we use it

receive your information in a portable format

To use any of these rights, email [email protected] from the address linked to your order or account. We'll respond within one month, free of charge.

Children. The Site is not intended for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.

Complaints. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, please contact us first. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113. If you live in the EU, you can contact your local data protection authority.

Changes. If we update this policy, we'll post the new version here and change the date at the top.
